Food Drive

A BIG "Thank You!!" to all of you who participated in The Village's 4th Annual Food Drive. We had over 170 cans to give to the Family Crisis Center. When we delivered the food we were greeted by Margie Harris, the Center director, and Megan Heiner, the shelter manager. They were so appreciative and expressed how grateful they were for the donations. The Family Crisis Center is a very helpful source in our community and we thank you again for helping us give back to them!

Refreshment Corner & Daily News

A new feature to the clubhouse is our Refreshment Corner! Come enjoy a cup of hot cocoa or cinnamon tea. Cookies baked fresh everyday! YUM!

Once your hands have been warmed by your new steamy beverage, head over to the lounge and pick up a copy of today's local paper! We have subscribed to The Rexburg Standard Journal and The Post Register (based out of Idaho Falls). Have a seat by the fireplace and enjoy!

**Please be mindful to put the newspaper back when you are done so the next person can enjoy it as much as you!**
(If you would like a previous days paper, please stop by the office)

New Bus Stop

Not too long ago, the owner's of The Village started contemplating an additional amenity to the property. What could the Village community as a whole benefit from? The result? A bus stop! The children can be protected from the elements of the weather while waiting for the school bus and the adults have the same protection while waiting for city transportation. It was installed just in time for the first snow fall and we have already received positive feedback!

We would like to announce that I-RIDE uses our stop to pick up residents. The shuttle service offers regular routes to and from all areas of BYU-Idaho campus and local grocery stores and other businesses. Don't have a car? Don't feel like thawing your car out or looking for parking by campus? Need a ride to get groceries? Try I-RIDE! For more information visit www.iriderexburg.com
